Blake > Cackling Goose / Bernache du Hutchins "Richardson's" subspecies Branta hutchinsii hutchinsii Andrew Haydon Park, Ottawa, Ontario 2 December 2009 On one of the duck ponds at Andrew Haydon Park, lost somewhere in a sea of Canada geese, I located a lone cackling goose swimming lazily around.  Note the short, stubby bill and small head.
